Office Hours
12 March 1996, Most Reverend Gerald R. Barnes was installed as the new
Bishop of San Bernardino Diocese, with Bishop Straling becoming the first Bishop of the newly formed Diocese of Reno, Nevada. Bishop Barnes requested Father Charles E. Miller to assume St. Mary's pastorate.
Ordained 28 June 1991, he had been serving al St. Margaret Mary in Chino and St. Peter and Paul in Alta Loma.
In June 1998, Bishop Barnes announced six pastoral changes to take effect 01 July 1998, when Father Charles was assigned to Holy Family parish in Hesperia.  Father Charles was gifted and natural speaker and his homilies were most spiritually enriching.
Father Pons Ramos, SVD, was St. Mary's next pastor, ordained for the Society of the Divine Word at Techny IL, 16 March 1985.
During Fr. Ramos ministry, the New Millennium was welcomed, the fifteenth anniversary of his ordination was celebrated, the empty lot in front of the rectory was paved for additional parking; Our Lady of Guadalupe statue was moved from inside the church to the special niche in the vestibule; a stone monument to unborn babies was placed; Sister Nelda Klein, Religious Education Instructor, celebrated her Golden Jubilee of service to the Lord; and the five season ministry of Renew 2000 began.
June 2000 saw Father Luc Tran's arrival as Parochial Vicar. Ordained 23 March 1996, at Techny, IL he served in Mexico prior to his appointment at St. Mary's and assumed pastoral duties during Fr. Ramos Sabbatical to Rome in late 2001.
06 April 2002, Bishop Gerald Barnes accepted Fr. Ramos resignation with Fr. Luc appointed as administrator. In June 2002, Father Ignatius Rasquinha assumed the duties of Administrator, while continuing his duties as pastor of St. Christopher's in nearby Joshua Tree.

A more complete parish history may be found in the four books in St. Mary's vestibule.

As we continue our journey of faith, May the Lord Bless us to His work and guide us in His Spirit.                                                                                       Helen Dotts
